We use very few cookies, and none for advertising. Here is each one and what it does.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar tools, such as local storage, keep small amounts of information on your device.
What we use
- Sign-in cookies. When you sign in, we set cookies that keep you signed in and protect your account. They last until you sign out, for up to two days, or for up to 14 days if you choose “Keep me signed in.”
- Security checks. Our forms include hidden security values to stop automated spam. When you use the password reset page, a short test cookie checks that your browser accepts cookies.
- Checklist ticks. On our printable checklists, the boxes you tick are saved in your browser’s local storage so they are still there when you return. This stays on your device and is never sent to us.
What we do not use
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not allow third parties to track you across other sites from our website. If we ever add analytics, we will choose a privacy-friendly option and update this notice before we do.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block sign-in cookies, you will not be able to sign in. Clearing your browser’s site data will also clear any checklist ticks.
