Gracekeeps Loss Care
After a death, one clear place to start.
Loss Care gives your family a personal plan for everything that follows a death, a care specialist to help you through it and the tools to finish each task without starting from scratch.
Someone has just died? Our free guide covers what to do first.

Why it helps
The first days are loud. The months after are long.
In the first days there are calls to make and choices to face. Then come months of forms, accounts, claims and waiting. It is a second job that nobody asked for, taken on at the worst possible time.
Loss Care is built for both stretches. It tells you what matters today, what can wait, and who can help with each step.
- A plan shaped by your situation and your state
- One place for every document, contact and note
- A person to ask when you are not sure

Funeral planning
Know the costs before you commit.
In the US, a funeral home must give you an itemized price list when you ask about arrangements in person, and share prices over the phone if you call. Loss Care helps you use that list well.
Build a cost plan item by item, compare quotes side by side and decide what matters to your family, without pressure.
- Itemized cost planner with common line items
- Questions to ask each provider
- Space to record wishes the person left behind
Benefits finder
Find what your family may be owed.
Loss Care walks you through benefits that families often miss: Social Security survivor benefits and the one-time death payment, VA burial benefits, life insurance, pensions, retirement accounts and benefits from an employer. For each one, you see who to contact and which documents to have ready.
- A checklist built from your answers
- Contact details and document lists for each claim
- Status tracking so you know what is still open

How it works
From the first sign in to the last task
Tell us what happened
A few gentle questions about the person, your role and where they lived. Skip anything you do not know yet.
Get your plan
Your plan shows what to do now, this week and later, with plain explanations for every step.
Work through it together
Your care specialist helps you prepare calls and letters. Family members can take tasks of their own.
Close the loop
Track claims, accounts and expenses until the estate is settled, and keep the records you need.
If today feels like too much
Grief and caregiving can be very heavy. In the US, you can call or text 988 at any hour to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. In an emergency, call 911.
Loss Care questions
What families ask us
Is Loss Care only for the executor?
No. Anyone helping after a death can use it. The executor or next of kin often leads, and others can join to share tasks.
We have already started. Is it too late?
Not at all. Tell us what is done and your plan will start from where you are.
Can a care specialist call the bank for us?
Many institutions will only speak with the executor or next of kin. Your care specialist helps you prepare, gathers what you need and can join some calls with your permission.
Does Loss Care replace an attorney?
No. Gracekeeps does not give legal advice. Loss Care helps you understand the process and spot when an attorney is needed, so your time with one is shorter and more useful.
How long can we use Loss Care?
For as long as your plan is active. Settling an estate often takes many months, and your plan and records stay with you.
Bring Loss Care to the families you serve.
Life insurers, banks and employers offer Loss Care to beneficiaries and employees. Families can also start on their own for free.
